- Aragon ltd. designs are driven by two creative forces, friends Sarah McLaughlin and Meghan Lorenz. On impact, the collision of our ideas and inspirations are brought together to create individual designs produced by hand. Like the same pen name we share with Louis Aragon, a founding members of the Surrealist movement, we develop our collaborative collections with a automatic approach and a futuristic in vision towards fashion and design. The accessory collections are aimed to be worn by the citizen who define the collections with a fearless approach in fashion and generate the liberated and youthful energy we bring forth in each piece. Having studied at The School of the Art Institute and Columbia College in Chicago our art degree studies vary in the same way we select our materials. We find, search, and inherit things from around the city to transform found objects into sculpturally avant-garde heirlooms. Both designers live, work, and play in Chicago Il, balancing their lives between, window display, wardrobe styling, painting and sculpture.
